According to the handy Blogger.com statistics page, we (Erin and I) get about 2500 readers a month to our humble little blog. We started writing the day we moved from Berkeley to Honolulu back in July 2007. Five years later and we're still goin' strong! I'm amazed I've stuck with it, but I'm glad we have. This blog has allowed us to stay in close touch with distant friends, and provided us with a way to keep our writing skills sharp (hopefully!).
Anyway, I can't help but wonder: who are you 2500 people who read our blog each month. I realize that a significant fraction of you get here by Googling things like "Elmo's parents" (this is our second most viewed post!) But I keep running into astronomers from places ranging from the IfA Hawaii to MPA Garching who tell us, "I'm one of the lurkers to reads your blog."
Are you one of our lurkers? Long-time reader, zero-time caller? If so, awesome! Please pop up for a brief second and let us know who you are (in an anonymous fashion).
